DANIEL S. THRACE

Some people say actors are all egos, self obsessed and generally more concerned with their own well being than that of the people around them, but acting is the opposite of just that. When you act you attempt to portray someone else through your own and the director's eyes as realistically as possible to the situation you are in, so an audience can connect and relate to that character. This, to me, is something where your ego is irrelevant. You must lose your way of thinking and merge it with another.

My name is Daniel, I'm an actor based in York and looking to work around the UK. I've been acting for around 5 years, mainly taking roles in film, be it feature or short. I came a little late to acting compared to some, having began after my education and University. Now I have knowledge through training with Act Up North and The Yorkshire School of Acting, along with Screen combat through the British Action Academy, over 20 films under my belt, a multitude of festival achievements, and the drive to keep dreaming bigger.

I am currently working on my own short film that's based around a certain fan favourite character set in a new light. With an amazing team of upcoming film makers helping me achieve it, keep an eye out for this one, we mean business.
